If your mobile app keeps crashing, it’s possible that you may be using an older version of the BlockFi app or there could be some cached app data that is causing this issue.
To resolve this issue, please try the troubleshooting steps listed below.
For iOS users:
- Delete the app from your iPhone’s settings: Settings > General > Storage > BlockFi > Delete App
- Shut your phone down completely and restart it
- Enable cookies in your iPhone’s settings: Settings > Safari > "Block All Cookies" should be OFF
- Download the latest version of the BlockFi mobile app from the App Store
- Login normally
Step #3 ensures the default web browser on your device (most likely Safari on iOS) has cookies enabled. Cookies are required to be enabled for a successful login.
For Android users:
- Delete app from your phone’s settings: Settings > Apps > App Info > BlockFi > Uninstall
- Shut your phone down completely and restart it
- Enable cookies in your phone’s settings: Chrome > More > Site Settings > Cookies > Turn ON
- Download the latest version of the BlockFi mobile app from the Google Play Store
- Login normally
Step #3 ensures the default web browser on your device (most likely Google Chrome on Android) has cookies enabled. Cookies are required to be enabled for a successful login.
If the problem persists after trying the steps above, please contact a BlockFi client service representative. You can do so by clicking the Chat icon on the bottom right of this page.
