For crypto withdrawals, if a withdrawal request is placed before 8PM EST (00:00 UTC), it will be processed the next business day. If the request is placed after 8PM EST (00:00 UTC), it will be processed in two business days. Crypto withdrawals are processed between 12PM-8PM EST on business days (Monday - Friday). Some crypto withdrawals may also trigger additional verification, which may cause your withdrawal to be delayed. Please make sure to check your email (including junk/Spam) to see if your particular withdrawal request triggered the additional verification.
All crypto withdrawals are also subject to a security hold up to 7 days and are then processed the following business day after that hold clears. This security hold is in place to protect clients against fraudulent requests and also allows clients to cancel their request if the destination wallet is entered incorrectly. Additionally, it gives BlockFi time to review and ensure the assets are being returned to the correct individual and there is no fraudulent or suspicious activity.
Additionally, if you either enable or disable Allowlisting within your account, please allow a full 7 days before attempting to make any crypto withdrawals from your account.
All funds deposited instantly via ACH are subject to a 5-business day hold. Additionally, as a security precaution, BlockFi may require any funds deposited via ACH to be held on the platform for up to 60 days.
All Crypto withdrawals must be initiated through your BlockFi Wallet. Please see instructions below on how to proceed with a withdrawal.
- Sign in to your dashboard
- Click on the “Wallet” tab
- Select the asset you wish to withdraw
- Click on the “Withdraw” button
- Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
- Input the destination wallet address
- Review the withdrawal request
- Confirm
Please note that if you have an active loan and your loan LTV is above 70%, any assets in your BlockFi Account cannot be withdrawn.
